STAGE PRESENCE FOR ADULT DANCERS: FROM TECHNIQUE TO CONNECTION 🎭
📆 Wednesdays August 19th - September 9th
⏰ 6:30-7:45PM
📍London Nelson Community Center

Have you ever learned choreography but felt unsure how to make it come alive in performance? This four-week course is designed for beginning adult dancers who want to feel more confident, expressive, and comfortable being seen.

This class is open to dancers of all styles and requires no prior performance experience. Whether you dream of performing on stage, social dancing with more confidence, or simply bringing greater expression to your movement, you’ll leave with practical tools to help your dancing feel more engaging, intentional, and alive. By the end of the course, participants will perform a short dance phrase and gain skills they can apply to any dance style or performance opportunity.

Bring comfortable dance attire, water, and a willingness to step outside your comfort zone in a supportive setting.

🌴 Up next for the Int. hip Hop rotation is Lauren Korth! 🌴 While many of you know Lauren as the tap teacher here at Motion, her other main dance art form is hip hop. Her background includes co-directing re.DEFINE Dance Collective in Hayward, UCSC’s Haluan Dance Troupe (circa 2016!), and training with Chris Martin’s Shapey Wapeys program. She continues to learn at various studios in the Bay Area and most recently, has been helping curate our new rotating class. She’s stoked to bring her craft into the space this week! 🙌

Lauren will be teaching ONE night only 7-8pm Thursday 8/13 at London Nelson Community Center ✨
