Come one, come all! Let’s change it up this summer! Try a new hairstyle, swap some clothes, and connect with the community. Work with licensed hair stylists from Nine Lives Salon, bring some clothes to share, and leave feeling like a new you 💅 Let’s slayyyy for summer! Tips are encouraged for stylists for donating their time. Brought to you in collaboration between The Diversity Center, Lionel Cantú Q***r Resource Center, and Motion Pacific. RSVP required for a haircut. We will do our best to accommodate your haircut request, but slots are limited.

🌴 Rotating Intermediate Hip Hop with Uma starts THIS Thursday! 🌴

Uma has studied the funk styles of popping and locking, alongside waving and freestyling under her mentor, the OG Ceech | Hip Hop Dance Lessons 🙌 In 2025, she joined Syndicate to train and compete, as well as Tannery World Dance teaching hip hop. She’s currently pursuing her education at UCLA, and is very excited to bring hip-hop dance and love to the Motion Pacific rotating class.

Uma will be teaching 7-8pm Thursdays at London Nelson Community Center on 7/2, 7/9, 7/16, & 7/23 ✨

👉 Attending all 4 classes is recommended but not required!
