GOOD NEWS: You showed up. 👏
You moved your body. You broke a sweat. You put in the work.
BAD NEWS: If you’re skipping recovery, you’re only getting half the benefit.
Exercise creates stress on the body—that’s not a bad thing. It’s actually how we get stronger. But the adaptations you’re working so hard for don’t happen during the workout… they happen after, when your body has the time and resources to recover.
When recovery gets pushed aside, your body can stay in a constant state of stress, which may lead to:
✨ Increased soreness and fatigue
✨ Slower muscle repair and performance gains
✨ Higher risk of injury and burnout
✨ Poor sleep and elevated stress levels

Today we celebrate two beautiful reminders: International Yoga Day and the Summer Solstice. ☀️✨
The longest day of the year invites us to pause and notice the light—both around us and within us.
Yoga has never been just about movement. It’s about coming home to ourselves. It’s about finding steadiness in uncertainty, softness in strength, and connection in a world that often asks us to move too fast.
As the sun reaches its peak, we’re reminded that growth requires both expansion and grounding. The Solstice marks a turning point—a moment to honor how far we’ve come, express gratitude for what is, and create space for what is still unfolding.
Today, we’re grateful for this practice, this community, and every soul who has stepped onto a mat seeking something more.
May this season bring clarity, vitality, and the courage to shine fully as yourself.
