The girls had a great time this weekend for canter down, despite the weathers best attempt to thwart Saturday afternoon. The Lindbloom girls practiced their model class, Camilla and winter had lots of practice in the 2’ divisions, and Gianna and baby Bella had lots of practice in the 18” divisions. Both girls went home with lots of 1sts,2nds and tricolors. Cam also finished 3rd in a huge eq flat challenge class against the ‘big’ girls! Maya and Rufus came back after almost a year off; they were in great form and went home with a few champions. Marin and happy shipped in both days just before their 2’3” division; he was a good boy for her and did his job without question (sometimes an issue!) and finished reserve in the hunters (they’re actually jumpers lol) and 2nd in the medal challenge. Lily showed Red Bull for the first time in a handful of flat classes each day, ending with a clean sweep of the pleasure sat, 1st open schooling, 7th in the eq flat challenge sat, then won both their hunter u/s classes and the eq flat on Sunday. Jessa showed 3 very different horses over the wknd, finishing champion on her pony in the green xrails sat, winning the big eq flat challenge on her young wb, boeing Saturday; coming back with her mom’s tb, Elmo on sun and finishing reserve champion in the schooling hunters. Great job girls! Next up is WEC next week; Oct brings 4 weeks straight of showing as well!
