Thank you to the Utah Golf Foundation for choosing to host their Veterans On Course women's event at River Oaks today. If you haven't heard about it, the Veterans On Course program provides free instruction and playing opportunities to military personnel of active or veteran status. Each VOC event includes an educational session with PGA Professionals, a nine-hole scramble golf tournament, and either lunch or dinner.

Congratulations to 2026 River Oaks Men’s Club Championship winner Calvin Miller, who fired rounds of 66-69, July 31 Aug 1, to finish at 5-under-par 135 and capture this year’s trophy.

Calvin finished three shots clear of runner-up Andrew Barton at 2-under-par. Neil Norton and Jeff Jolley placed third at 1-under, while Codee Raymond rounded out the top five at 5 + over.

Congratulations also to 2026 River Oaks Senior Club Championship winner Peter Stuhr, who fired a senior club champ record 7-under.

A special thank you to all the staff that made this a successful event. We also appreciate everyone who competed and helped make this year’s event a success. The temperatures were high and the scores were low!

In case you haven't heard, fireworks are banned throughout all of Sandy City, due to an executive order by Governor Cox. Even during a regular year, the entire area around River Oaks Golf Course lies within Sandy's prohibited areas for fireworks. The last thing we'd ever want is for a fire to break out anywhere near our course, so please help us protect our greens by skipping personal fireworks this 4th of July.
