’Twas the Night Before the South Range Little Raiders Cheer Competition
’Twas the night before competition, and all through the town,
Not a Raider was sleeping, as nerves bounced around.
The uniforms hung with their bows shining bright,
As our Little Raiders prepared for the fight.
The pom-poms were packed and the music was ready,
The girls practiced their motions, each movement held steady.
They dreamed of the field, the crowd, and the cheer,
And all of the hard work that brought them right here.
From summer-long practices to late nights of cheer,
They’ve worked through the sweat, the smiles, and the tears.
They’ve learned to be leaders, courageous and strong,
And together as Raiders, they’ve all come along.
Tomorrow they’ll step on the field with pride,
With their teammates and coaches right by their side.
They’ll tumble and jump, they’ll shout and they’ll soar,
Giving it everything—then giving some more!
They’ll bring Raider spirit, with voices held high,
And show everyone what it means to fly.
With burgundy, gold, and white shining bright,
They’ll represent South Range with all of their might.
So rest up, Little Raiders, your moment is near,
Tomorrow you’ll show them the meaning of cheer.
With confidence, teamwork, and hearts shining bright,
You’ll give your very best from morning till night.
So here’s to the teamwork, the courage, the pride,
To the friendships and memories made side by side.
Tomorrow, Little Raiders, go out there and shine—
The field is yours… now it’s Raider time!
You’ll cheer with your hearts, and you’ll give it your all,
You’ll rise to the challenge and answer the call.
With every jump, motion, chant, and cheer,
You’ll show the whole crowd why you belong here.
And when the final scores are announced with delight,
May the trophy be yours beneath the bright lights.
So lift up your voices and let your pride ring—
Go win that trophy, Little Raiders—go show them your thing!
LET’S GO RAIDERS!
