11U Blue are champions again winning their first tourney of the season at the NCTB Summer Heat in Manteca. These Feds went undefeated through the weekend scoring 51 and giving up only 14. Keep it up boys!💙

10U Blue played up to 11U this past weekend, went undefeated and took home the championship! These Feds scored 46 runs and gave up only 10 battling against teams a full year older. Keep it up Feds!

9U Blue started the season strong taking home the NCS Weekend Warriors championship. These Feds scored 61 runs giving up only 13 and going undefeated. Keep it up boys!

Welcome back boys! The West Coast Federals Fall 2026 starts now and we’re ready to bring home more hardware. Biggest congratulations to our newest Feds and welcome home returning players. Let’s start this season strong ♥️💙

Well, that wraps up another version of Disneyland for baseball...AKA Cooperstown Dreams Park.
This could get long-winded...which, as many of you know, is much different than my emails.
I told a lot of you before you left that you were going to have more fun than you were anticipating. I'm guessing I was right.
Every year when I arrive my first thought is, "Why am I here again?" The kids are nuts, the food isn't great, you're walking 40,000 steps a day, dealing with jet lag, rain, and the occasional farting kid. But every single year, by the time we leave, I think, "This really is the greatest place on earth."
Did we win it all? No. And honestly, I'm not convinced we ever will...but we'll keep trying. (See 2030.) It's tough to compete with National Level teams, especially when I don't believe in that approach for 9-12 year olds.
When we build Federals teams, we build teams. Our kids can play with anyone in the park, but we don't reload with a new roster every year. We develop players, families stay together, and the teams grow together. That's how I believe youth baseball should be.
Feds Blue
Chris, thank you for being a constant for these boys over the past 4-5 years. Assistant coaches rarely get much recognition, maybe a nice dinner in Vegas once a year—but you've always supported whoever was leading the team. Every program needs people like you.
Jesse, you took over this group as 10U and guided them the rest of the way. People don't always see the time it takes to coach a Federals team—both between the lines and outside of them. You led this team to the Elite Eight and, like every coach who's been there, found out that pitching disappears pretty quickly at that stage. I wish you nothing but success with your new team, and I think your training business is going to be a huge hit.
A special shout-out to the Armstrong family—Casey, Jack, and Ian. You've been part of the Federals family for around 12 years. I couldn't have asked for a better baseball family, and I wish all of you nothing but the best. Feds for Life!
Feds White
Rolando, thank you for always being there. You were supportive, dependable, and willing to help however needed.
Randy, one day you called because you wanted to be part of a program that emphasized development. You brought around six players with you, and we built from there. We spent a lot of time together getting the boys up to speed, and they bought in quickly. I don't think anyone ran more successful Bear Down Picks or Double Tap first-and-thirds than your team.
Watching this group improve every year was fun. I only wish we'd started them together sooner. The good news is most of them are sticking together as 13s.
You—and the parents, who deserve their own recognition—also raised a great group of kids. I can't tell you how many times players stopped what they were doing just to come over, shake my hand (correctly), and say hello. That's a reflection of the families behind them.
This team was one of the closest-knit groups I've ever been around. It was fun watching those friendships develop, in what I would consider a short amount of time.
And to the White parents...what an incredible group. You never missed a birthday, celebrated every accomplishment, and were there whenever one of the boys needed support. Every time Team White got going on GameChanger, my phone exploded.
Feds Red
What can I say?
Normally I'd think it was a little strange to have a group of moms hanging out at every practice...but I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
The Cult was real.
It reminded me that we don't just recruit players—we build programs around families. I truly enjoyed all of you...other than that one picture...gaggggg. Thank you for enabling me to add to the Manifesto this season!
(Dads, you were alright too...but let's be honest, the Cult stole the show.)
Taylor, thank you for everything you did to support Vinnie. Coaching isn't a one-person job, and all the little things you handled behind the scenes allowed him to focus on coaching. Those things matter more than people realize.
Gino, thank you for being there this weekend. I know the families appreciated it, and I certainly did. Plus, it meant Taylor didn't have to stay in the barracks. Now you've gotten a taste of what coaching at Cooperstown is really like, and that'll help you a ton when it's your turn in a couple of years.
And then there's Vinnie.
Who would've thought that the kid who couldn't put on a belt correctly, lost a shoe rounding second base in his very first Federals game, and wore his hat more crooked than any left-hander ever would come back and become one of our best coaches?
I knew we had something special the first time I watched you coach. You were teaching the exact same things we taught you when you were nine years old—and using the exact same words. That's when I knew we'd be just fine. You are also one of the smarter guys around to know that our logo is a COW!
You took what many considered our second group and turned them into a top-tier team. Watching that progression over the years has been awesome.
I wish more former Federals would come back and coach with the same knowledge, passion, and ability to connect with kids that you have.
I could keep going, but I think you know how much I appreciate everything you've done. I'm also glad you've committed to another 20 years.
The good news? You'll be back next year with 12U Red. You've got another great group of players and families waiting for you.
Finally...
To all of our parents, thank you for your commitment over the past four-plus years.
Your friends probably think you're crazy for the amount of time you've spent at baseball fields...and, in the case of Red, maybe they're right.
But if I asked whether you'd do it all over again, I'm hoping every one of you would say yes.
Thank you for trusting us with your kids, for believing in what the Federals are about, and for helping make this program what it is.
I can't wait to see these boys continue their baseball journeys in high school and beyond. This is another outstanding group of players—but, more importantly, another outstanding group of young men and families.
Once a Fed...always a Fed

Congrats to the Feds 12U Blue team who advanced to the Elite 8 at Cooperstown Dreams Park this week. They earned the #2 overall seed in pool play, and won 7 games before finally losing in a back and forth battle. Home runs were flying out of the yard all week, with 8 different Feds Blue players going deep. Bolstered by great defense and pitchers who rang up 66 total strikeouts, these boys ended their 12U season with a bang. Special thanks to Coaches Jesse and Chris for your time and commitment to these boys and for a week at Cooperstown these boys will never forget!
