Our kids’ Hip Hop classes are high-energy, age-appropriate, and perfect for dancers who love music and want to learn some cool new moves!

At San Marcos Dance Studio, our focus has never been competition. We believe dancers can receive excellent training, work hard and become strong, technically skilled dancers without the pressure of competing.

We focus on technique, confidence, work ethic, individual growth and friendships—while keeping dance something our students genuinely love.

From a little one walking into their very first class to an experienced teen or college dancer continuing to refine their technique, there is a place for them here.

And just like that, our first week of Season 14 is in the books! 🩷

Our Thursday dancers finished out the week strong with lots of energy, hard work, and plenty of smiles along the way. It was so fun watching everyone get back into the swing of things and already start putting in the work.

We’re so proud of all of our dancers for a GREAT first week and can’t wait to see how much they grow this year!

💗 Dance teaches so much more than dance.

Yes, our dancers learn technique, choreography and how to become stronger performers—but some of the most important lessons they take from the studio have nothing to do with steps.

They learn confidence when they finally master something they’ve been working on.
They learn discipline by showing up and putting in the work.
They learn perseverance when something doesn’t come easily.
They learn teamwork and friendship by cheering each other on.
And they learn to be proud of their own progress. ✨

At San Marcos Dance Studio, we want our dancers to work hard, improve and become the best dancers they can be—but we also want them to have a place where they feel happy, supported and part of a dance family.
