Cal Poly Athletics has 21 men's and women's intercollegiate athletic teams that compete at the NCAA Division I level. The Mustangs compete in the Big West conference in all sports except for wrestling (Pac-12), swimming and diving (MPSF) and football (Big Sky).

We are excited to announce that former Mustang softball standout Dr. Anna Cahn is part of the 2026 Cal Poly Athletics Hall of Fame class!
One of the best all-around players in Cal Poly softball history, Cahn was a four-time All-Big West selection and the only athlete in conference history to earn both Big West Pitcher and Field Player of the Year accolades. She is still third in program history for career strikeouts (411) and top five in complete games, wins, and shutouts. In batting, she holds the program record for career walks, and is third in home runs and RBIβs. Welcome to the Hall of Fame Anna!
The hall of fame ceremony will take place Saturday, Sept. 19 with a brunch in the MAC on campus at 10am. Tickets for that can be bought at GoPoly.com/tickets.

We are excited to announce that former Mustang track and field and football standout Kaaron Conwright is part of the 2026 Cal Poly Athletics Hall of Fame class!
One of the most accomplished sprinters in program history, Conwright was a five-time NCAA All-American and two-time Big West Track and Field Athlete of the Year. He won seven Big West titles in his career, including four straight in the 100-meter. He still holds the program record in the 100-meter dash (10.07) and owns the second fastest time in the 200-meter (20.69). He also played on the Mustang football team for two seasons as a cornerback. Welcome to the Hall of Fame Kaaron!

We are excited to announce that former Mustang baseball player, coach, and athletics administrator Kent Agler is part of the 2026 Cal Poly Athletics Hall of Fame class!
As a player, he still holds the school record for lowest ERA in a single season, compiling a 1.20 ERA in 1971 with just 12 earned runs allowed over 90 innings. That earned him All-CCAA and All-District honors. Agler then served as an assistant coach for the baseball program from 1988-94. As an administrator, he was the athletic departmentβs event operations manager for 11 years Welcome to the Hall of Fame Kent!
