Finally got around to cleaning my lil crooky-faced rabbit. This was a severe case of wry nose, more commonly occurring in ruminants like deer/cattle/horses. This was one of my New Zealand rabbits. She was happy and healthy and made it to butcher weight with her littermates. I’ve been breeding rabbits for 15+ years and never had this occur in my rabbits. It’s generally caused by uterine placement during development in larger litters. This was a litter of 10. Note: This rabbit did not suffer with this condition. She was active and ate well. These rabbits are raised for meat to sustain our family. They are honored and respected. Wowza! What a wild weekend in San Jose! Shout out to my girl, Tessa, for being the best expo partner (and putting up with me lol), to everyone who came out and showed love for our art, and last but not least to Michelle and her team with the @odditiesandcuriositiesexpo for always hosting such a great event. I’m bringing home a bunch of great new things for the shop and spending a day with my DIL setting up their nursery for our 1st grandbaby due in just a couple more weeks! And I had to share the twin to my baby Victorian couch! I’ve never seen 2 of these on 1 place before this weekend!
