Another packed night on the mats!

MTA would like to congratulate wrestling coach RJ Cho and wish him good luck as he has been accepted to UCLA and will be moving to Southern California to attend the prestigious university! Coach RJ has been with us from the start and we can’t emphasize enough how much we love him and how much he will be missed. Coach RJ has truly changed the lives of our wonderful youth wrestlers.

With that being said, we’d like to welcome Coach Danny Daniel to the MTA family! A distinguished coach with the legendary thesnakepitwrestling408 program, we are lucky to have him for the Wednesday 5 pm youth wrestling class going forward. Coach Danny will be with us starting July 1, 2026 and from his own words:

Hi everyone, I’m Daniel Meza, and I’m excited to be joining MTA as the new wrestling coach. I bring 15 years of competitive wrestling experience and 6 years of coaching experience, working with athletes from 5 to 18 years old. My goal is to create an environment where wrestlers can develop their skills, build confidence, and learn the value of discipline, hard work, and teamwork. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of the MTA family, and I can’t wait to get started and help our athletes grow both on and off the mat.

We’re truly blessed here and we can’t wait to see everyone on the mats!
