When building strength, I like to focuses on heavy compound lifts that I believe delivers the greatest return for the time invested. As competition approaches, the plan evolves to include conditioning, skill work, and longer training sessions designed for the demands of CrossFit.

The takeaway isn't to copy someone else's schedule.

It's to understand that effective training starts with a clear goal and a plan built around it.

Every training session begins with preparation.

Taking the time to warm up, focus, and move with intention helps set the tone for everything that follows. Those small routines improve performance, reinforce consistency, and prepare both the body and the mind for the work ahead.

Neal approaches every workout with purpose, knowing that quality training starts long before the first lift or workout begins.

A barbell. A challenge. A choice to step forward.

Past achievements don't lift today's weight, and yesterday's setbacks don't define today's performance. Progress comes from showing up, putting in the work, and approaching each session with the same commitment to improve.

That's the standard Neal brings into every workout.

I love watching my son develop skills. Physical development encompasses growth and changes in the body throughout life.

It includes improvements in motor skills, strength, stamina, and coordination.

Healthy nutrition and regular exercise are key to supporting this progress. 💪✨

Some of the best moments in training happen between the workouts.

A conversation with a teammate, a hard-earned laugh after a challenging session, or the satisfaction of knowing you gave your best.

Neal believes progress comes from showing up consistently, but enjoying the journey makes it easier to keep coming back.

Keep training. Keep learning. Keep enjoying the process.

Great performance isn't built by training just one skill.

Strength, endurance, and mobility all work together to help athletes move efficiently and perform at their best.

Neal's approach reflects that balance. Every training session has a purpose, and every element plays a role in long-term development.

Building a well-rounded athlete means giving each area the attention it deserves.

Confidence grows through practice.

Every workout teaches something, whether it's better movement, greater discipline, or the patience to keep improving one step at a time.

Starting young gives athletes more than physical strength. It gives them the opportunity to build habits, resilience, and a mindset they can carry into every stage of life.

That's an investment that lasts far beyond the gym.

The first lessons matter.

Young athletes who learn proper technique, move with intention, and practice consistently develop skills they can carry into every stage of their athletic journey.

That's why Neal always starts with the fundamentals.

Training creates the challenge.

Recovery is where your body adapts.

Sleep, hydration, mobility, and proper nutrition all contribute to long-term progress. Giving those habits the same attention as your workouts helps you stay consistent and continue improving over time.

Recovery isn't something separate from training. It's part of the process.

Every lift is an opportunity to reinforce good movement, build strength, and develop confidence under the bar.

For Neal, training has always been about more than moving weight. It's about refining technique, staying consistent, and approaching every session with purpose.

The strongest athletes understand that long-term progress is built one intentional rep at a time.
