Thank you so much to Spotlight Dance Cup for the best Nationals weekend, as well as Starlight Dance Center for providing rehearsal space! We are incredibly proud of every dancer on this team who poured so much work into this moment, and are so grateful for each parent, sibling, and friend who supported them along the way. Our next graduated senior is the wonderful Ruhi Kalambur! Ruhi is headed to Emory University, where she will be majoring in Biology. Go Eagles!

Ruhi’s Favorite CDC Memory: My favorite memory is always show week because of the excitement leading up to the show and being able to spend the time with friends.

Ruhi’s Favorite CDC Dance: My favorite CDC dance was Ms Kaela’s “Take on me” from Iconic because it was such a fun group and class and we really enjoyed working on the dance.

Good luck to Ruhi on all of her adventures and aspirations awaiting her in these next few! We will miss you, Ruhi! 🫶✨

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT 🌙✨

Our next CDC senior is the incomparable Mia Montez! Mia will be going to San Diego State University for her BA in Theater Arts: Emphasis in Performance, and is hoping to continue her dance journey in San Diego and LA. Go Aztecs!

Mia’s Favorite CDC Memory: My favorite memory was at the last comp when I was doing my solo this year- when I was on stage and I looked to the side, I just saw everybody cheering me on and smiling and crying. I just felt very loved and cared for in that moment.

Mia’s Favorite CDC Dance: My favorite dance has been “Spell On You” by Emily Rosa.

We will miss Mia so much, but are so excited to see her shine! Congratulations, Mia! ❤️💫

We would love to commemorate more of our wonderful seniors, and we are so proud to have had Jordyn Elford at CDC! Jordyn will be studying at Grand Canyon University with a major in Nursing, and continuing her dance journey with a Dance minor. Go Antelopes!

Jordyn’s Favorite CDC Memory: My favorite CDC memory was all the laughter and goofy moments during competition rehearsals, especially those late nights dancing during a “full moon”with my teammates.

Jordyn’s Favorite CDC Dance: My favorite CDC dance was Kindred because it brought us together like a family. The dance created an environment where everyone felt accepted, encouraged and empowered. It cultivated a true sense of connection which made it an unforgettable experience.

We are so proud of Jordyn and can’t wait to see where she flies next! Congratulations and good luck, Jordyn! 🫶🍀

Our AM/PM shows this year were one of our forever timeless favorites, Beauty and the Beast! Congratulations to all of our dancers for putting this story on stage so beautifully 🤍 Thank you to all of our volunteers backstage, parents, teachers, and CDC family for making this show a magical experience ✨
