San Jose Half Marathon

Watching these young runners from South Bay Youth Runners chase big goals is exactly what our sport is all about. ❤️

This incredible group took on the The San Francisco Marathon weekend after months of training together. From the 10K to the half marathon and full marathon, every athlete crossed the finish line and achieved their goal. The youngest runner was just 14 years old. The oldest was 18. Every one of them proved that hard work, perseverance, and the support of a strong community can unlock something extraordinary.

We’re proud to have supported South Bay Youth Runners through scholarships for this year’s San Jose Half Marathon, and we can’t wait to see what these athletes accomplish next.

Because it’s so much more than running 💙

and a NEW HALF MARATHON COURSE RECORD! Brenden Gregg of the Men’s Half Marathon set a new course record by almost 3-minutes with his time of 1:04:37.
