How's this for an office? The DNR hires summer interns who are interested in possibly pursuing careers in public safety or natural resources. These community service officers are stationed statewide.

Warden Daniel Denault was happy to have two officers with him this summer at High Cliff State Park. He said Officers Andy Detra and Catie Nowak did a terrific job as they enjoyed learning what these careers involve.

On this training day, the pair was with Warden Denault learning how to operate a vessel in rougher waters – such as Lake Winnebago.
