Now that it’s summer, we understand schedules are busy but that doesn’t mean your practice needs to be neglected. This is the perfect time to join a small group class! If your instructor is traveling or you can’t make your regular session, you can drop into one of our weekly classes. Classes are limited to 4 people so you can still receive personal attention. They are available on a drop-in basis so you can join whenever it fits your schedule.

EXCITING NEWS! Due to high demand, we have recently added small group equipment classes for clients who are brand new to our studio!
These two new classes (one Classical Pilates Reformer and one GYROTONIC® Pulley Tower) are perfect for brand new beginners or anyone new to our studio. No Private session prerequisite required for these two classes!
Our classes are capped at 4 students so you receive personal support in a small group environment. They are welcoming and are a perfect intro to either Pilates, GYROTONIC® or our studio!
These Basics classes are ideal for beginners and once you’ve completed 10 classes (or 3 private sessions), you can join any of our other small group equipment classes (FYI, we will be adding more classes in our new location…more on that soon).
These Basics classes will be an additional option for BRAND NEW CLIENTS who can join as first timers. To be able to join our many other equipment classes, you need to complete the Basics classes for a minimum of 10 classes.

‼️Important Road Closure & Parking Information for Saturday, July 4th ‼️
Several roads will be closed around our studio and parking will be limited due to the Rose, White and Blue 4th of July Parade.
The parade kicks off at 9:45 a.m. and winds its way through the Shasta/Hanchett and Rose Garden neighborhoods (Dana to Naglee to The Alameda).
If you have a session on Saturday morning, we recommend adding extra time for the drive and parking. If you would like to reschedule your session, please reach out to your instructor!

At Urban Body, we offer students the option to practice independently on the equipment once they have completed either the GYROTONIC® Pre-Training Course or our Joe’s Gym Pilates Workshop and occasionally we get asked the question — why offer both or which one is preferable?
The truth is that we believe both Independent Workouts and Sessions with an instructor are beneficial for your overall practice! If you’re interested in learning more about Independent Workouts in either GYROTONIC® or Classical Pilates, please DM us and we can provide more info!
