Almaden Community Center

Miss Sonia, a Physician Assistant, visited our classroom to teach our campers about the importance of regular checkups and what to expect during a visit to the doctor's office. The campers enjoyed reading a kid-friendly book about what a Physician Assistant does and learned that going to the doctor doesn't have to be scary! 🩺

Miss Sonia also brought a stethoscope, giving each camper the opportunity to listen to their heartbeats.❤️Thank you, Miss Sonia, for taking the time to visit our classroom and teach the campers about the importance of staying healthy and taking care of their bodies.👏🏼

Almaden Community Center successfully hosted the first Summer Concert of the summer! It was a great turnout, with a special appearance by The Iconics, who brought amazing entertainment and energy to our park. Our community came together to listen to live music, dance, and enjoy a beautiful summer evening. 🌅🎶

Our Summer Concert Series will continue every Thursday at 6:30PM for the rest of July at Greystone Park featuring a special guest band each week. Come support your community, enjoy a fun evening of live music, and make summer memories with us. We hope to see you there! 🎉

Today, Camp San Jose Jr. enjoyed the sun while participating in an exciting water day! Ms. Alli and Ms. Kim organized a variety of water activities that encouraged campers to use their learning skills while having fun. ☀️

🎨 Anime & Manga Camp – From sketching their own original designs, our young artists let their imaginations shine.

🧁 Baker's Pastry Camp – Campers mixed, baked, decorated, and enjoyed delicious pastries.

🔬 STEM in the Kitchen Camp – Science came to life through hands-on kitchen experiments, where campers discovered how to build a green house.
