Bellarmine Baseball is proud to announce the induction of Eric Thames into the Bellarmine Hall of Fame this Saturday, August 29th.

Eric embodies Bellarmine’s motto of being a man for and with others through his extraordinary personal achievements, remarkable professional accomplishments, and significant contributions to the community. He will be honored for exemplifying Bellarmine’s Ignatian tradition in service to others.

Eric Thames 테임즈 Bellarmine College Preparatory Bellarmine Athletics

You already know his name! John Damozonio ’22, of Saint Mary’s was just selected by the Atlanta Braves in the 2026 MLB Draft. A month and a half ago, he defeating the #1 seed, UCLA, in the NCAA D1 tournament, which was a national showcase of what he’s made of. He recorded 87 strikeouts in his phenomenal senior year. Good luck to John in the big leagues!
