Our Therapeutics Program was busy over the month of June!

Group arts participants partook in colorful arts and crafts.

Our Monthly Social theme was Think Beach!, and our participants enjoyed cool summer themed drinks while creating a sand craft terrarium.

The June HIRLN Outing was a Pizza and Movie Night, with participants enjoying a night of pizza and watching Toy Story 5 and Supergirl with friends.

Lastly, our Diabetes Type 1 Campers were surprised with a Dinosaur themed camp, and partook in lots of fun activities, field outings, and swimming days.

Mayfair Community Center will be closed this Friday, July 3rd in observance of Independence Day.

This morning, we had the opportunity to welcome Cadence Design Systems, City Year, and several employers to the Mayfair Community Center for a special volunteer event in partnership with the City of San José and the Mayor’s Office.

As a global leader in engineering, semiconductor design, and advanced technologies, Cadence Design Systems represents a promising partner for expanding STEM education, career exposure, mentorship, and workforce pathways for youth in our focus communities. Through the Cadence Giving Foundation’s $4.5 million investment in 2025 to advance STEM education and community initiatives, their work aligns closely with the Children and Youth Services Master Plan’s priorities around Learning & Empowerment and Meaningful & Sustaining Jobs.

Special thanks to SOMOS Mayfair Co-Executive Director Victor Vasquez for speaking on behalf of the Sí Se Puede Collective and uplifting the work we lead in support of the Children and Youth Services Master Plan in the Mayfair Demonstration Site.

Attention Older Adults! Citywide Senior Services is hosting a trip to San Francisco's Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf on July 31st! Today is the first day of Summer Teen Center 2026! Summer Teen Center is a drop in program that runs June 15th - August 7th, Monday - Friday from 12:30 - 4:30pm. Weekly field trips are also hosted throughout the summer, with the full field trip schedule included in this post. Summer Teen Center is a great opportunity for your teen to get out of the house and socialize in a cool setting on warm summer days. We hope to see your teen drop by this summer!

También se organizarán excursiones semanales durante todo el verano. El calendario completo de excursiones está incluido en esta publicación. SNP runs M-F from 11am - 12:30pm and is a completely free program for residents of Santa Clara County that are 60 or older. No reservation needed! Feel free to stop by after your morning activities for a hearty meal and a fun social hour.

The Mayfair Splash Pad is officially open for summer and will remain open until September 4, 2026! It will be open from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday - Friday. It will also be open on Saturdays from 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. starting June 20th until August 8th. Stay cool this summer with the Mayfair Splash Pad!

The Citywide Teen Sports League wrapped up its basketball season on Friday, May 22nd with our Mayfair Teen Center team placing 1st in their division and 2nd overall in the league! We are extremely proud of our players and coaches hard work and dedication over the season.

We are open tomorrow 6/2 with extended hours for the Primary Election from 7am - 8pm! These extended hours are for the vote center ONLY, with our regular programming hours still being from 8am - 6pm.

Come join us for our FREE Summer Kick Off Event in collaboration with Mayfair NAC! The event will be on Friday, June 26th from 6 - 8:30pm. We will be hosting a free movie night (popcorn included), open swim in our swimming pool, patio games, and refreshments! Let's celebrate the start of summer together!
