samana vayu: the wind that organizes digestion and moves through the core. when balanced, there is good flow which includes receiving, refining and integrating nourishment. the hatha yoga pradipika says that all disease begins in the abdominal organs. it’s not just food that affects our health but also the energy that we take in, how well we integrate or eliminate it and how nourishing it is. may you find yourself in good and nourishing flow 🙏
can’t wait for the retreater’s to arrive here in mexico!

Prana flows in 5 expressive energies, the Pancha Prana Vayus (5 winds of prana) on the most basic level, we must organize and ground through apana vayu, the downward flowing wind of prana. only then can we rise open and express through prana vayu, the upward expansive wind, with graceful strength.
