SFBats.net is the home of my San Francisco Giants bat collection. This includes game used and issued bats, plus some other Giants stuff. Steve Smith

Bill Swift 92-94 era SF bats. Since 1980, with SF states who had more than 50 starts, he ranks #2 (.672) barely behind Jason Schmidt (.678). Lincecum, Bumgarner and Reuter follow at 56%. In 1992 he led the NL in ERA and in 1993, he was the runner up in the NL Cy Young vote.

Reserve SF catcher Bill Bathe uncracked game used 1989 World Series bat likely used to hit a three run home run in the bottom of the 9th in game 3 off of A’s pitcher Gene Nelson (he took a ball and then hit the HR). Kurt Manwaring and Ken Obergfell scored on his three run homer - unfortunately the Giants were down 13–3 at the time so this bomb got the lead to 13–6 which would be the final score. In game 4, he got another at bat where grounded out but had 2 foul balls which is where the ball marks came from

Not a SF player but one of my favorites. Got to see a lot of Dave Parker at the Coliseum when he joined the A’s in 1988-89. All of these bats are at least 36 inches long and at least 35 oz. His Hall of Fame selection was overdue.

Dusty Rhodes 1961/62 era H&B. In the 1954, World Series, San Francisco Giants Dusty Rhodes went 4 for 6 with two home runs (walk off HR in Game 1) and seven RBIs in the three games he played in. The Giants would sweep the much favored Indians in four games. This World Series is known for Willie May’s famous over the shoulder catch, but it was the Rhodes who stole the offensive show.

Two Tim Lincecum 2010 World Series issued bats. This is the same LVS model and finish used by teammate Cody Ross in 2010. One bat without production date, length and weight info (likely a factory reject as the bat came from the Louisville area per the prior owner )and one with production date, weight, length info. One with a Cupped end and other without. In 2010, Timmy used primarily natural Rawlings bats, however he would often mix in other bats, including those of his teammates.
