We’re incredibly proud to celebrate Jared MacDonald on earning his U.S. Soccer National B License!

The National B License is one of the highest coaching qualifications in the United States, recognizing years of dedication to the game, continuous professional development, and a commitment to excellence in player development.

Jared’s leadership, knowledge, and passion have made a tremendous impact on the growth of our youth program. We are grateful to have him helping develop the next generation of players both on and off the field.

This past weekend, our community lost Lenin—a son, brother, best friend, and dedicated athlete. Lenin had just graduated from high school and was preparing to play soccer at Skyline College. He was a staple of the goalkeeping community in the Bay Area, known for his dedication, talent, and leadership both on and off the field. His passion for sports helped him build lasting friendships and a sense of belonging, inspiring those around him to strive for excellence.

Lenin’s journey through sports was not just about competition; it was about finding himself and creating opportunities for others. He trained hard alongside top talent, but he also understood the challenges many young people face in accessing high-level athletic training and competitive sports—especially in neighborhoods like ours. Sports were integral to Lenin’s life, shaping his character and helping him become a leader in his community.

In Lenin’s memory, his family wishes to create a fund that will allow other youth from similar communities to access the same opportunities that meant so much to him. By supporting this fundraiser, you are helping ensure that young adults can pursue their dreams, build community, and develop leadership skills through sports. We invite you to join us in honoring Lenin’s legacy by donating or sharing this campaign. Your support will make a lasting impact and help keep Lenin’s spirit alive in the hearts of future athletes.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of one of our own, Lenin Homer Silva. Lenin was a player with Seals MLS Next U19.  There are no words to describe the magnitude of shock and grief of losing such a young promising life.

During this time of deep sorrow, we extend our sincere condolences to Lenin’s family, loved ones, and the communities his young life touched.  Our thoughts are with them.
