GOLDEN HOUR VOL. 1: ASCENSION

In a city defined by momentum, we gathered to practice something quieter.

The first edition of Golden Hour brought our community together through movement, tea, and shared presence. Guided by Don Batalla and accompanied by a tea experience from Kettl, the morning became an invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect—with ourselves and with one another.

GOLDEN HOUR VOL. 1: ASCENSION

Join us at Goldwin New York for the first installment of Golden Hour, a community gathering centered around movement, mindfulness, and ritual.

The morning begins with a guided yoga practice led by Don Batalla, followed by a tea experience curated by Kettl featuring a selection of Japanese teas. Designed as a moment of pause within the rhythm of the city, the experience invites guests to move with intention, reconnect through presence, and gather in community.

Rooted in traditional yogic teachings, Don Batalla guides students through movement, breath, and mindful awareness, creating space for balance, clarity, and connection.

“EARTH DOES NOT BELONG TO MAN”

A short-sleeve shirt made from a cotton-linen blend, featuring a rich texture achieved through a special wash treatment. It has a relaxed silhouette and fastens with snap buttons at the front. It features large pockets on both sides.

The left pocket is adorned with an embroidered floral motif inspired by “Zalusianskya capensis,” a wildflower discovered by Cactus Store during an expedition in the Namaqualand region of South Africa. The left sleeve features the Goldwin logo, while the back of the neck features a locker loop and a printed collaboration logo.

Goldwin & Cactus Store 2026 Summer Capsule Collection

“EARTH DOES NOT BELONG TO MAN”

This T-shirt was designed by the Cactus Store team, inspired by research conducted during a trip to Namaqualand, South Africa. It features the phrase “EARTH DOES NOT BELONG TO MAN” and embodies the concept of “expressing reverence for nature by inverting the scale between humans and plants.”

The fabric is made from a blend of organic cotton and polyester (100% recycled) and incorporates a material that neutralizes sweat odors. The odor-neutralizing function is restored with every wash. Additionally, the product has been treated with a wash finish to give it a worn-in look and feel.
