🛶 Another year, another rafting trip!

SBS had a weekend break from paddling so of course we decided to paddle on our break 😍 Thank you to Sunshine Rafting Adventures for being great and for accommodating our group! It was nice to be in the cool water, especially in the valley heat.

Let’s run it back again next year 😼

For today’s practice, we did hit drills, seat pulls, speed transitions, and of course we had to paddle on our opposite sides.

🏖️ A successful return to Long Beach after 3 years!

☀️ SBS competed at the 2026 Long Beach Dragon Boat Festival at the end of July and it was such a fun and memorable trip during the summer!

Last practice before Long Beach RAAAAHHHH

For Sunday practice, we did hit drills, sprints, starts, and race pieces. Very productive work before the big race!

Shoutout to our paddlers for waking up bright and early these past two days so we don’t get stuck paddling in the mud :3

For today’s practice, we did speed work, starts, and race pieces. Also, we utilized the 12 man boat today so that was fun!

It’s been about 3 years since we went to Long Beach so we’re excited to return!

Summer has arrived!! 👙🩲🩳💦

SBS kicked off the summer by having a pool & potluck party. The theme of the potluck was to bring food items from Facebook Marketplace; luckily nobody got food poisoning 🤩

This was a fun way to cool off and enjoy each other’s companies!! To more fun socials, yay!!!

🎉 Halfway through the year and SBS checked off another successful competition in the books!

🫶 SBS and Davis Racing Dragons combined once again to race together at the San Francisco Dragon Boat Festival. This was such a fun festival and it definitely brings the nostalgia back from the dragon boat festivals back in the day 🤩 HUGE thank you and shoutout to CDBA & C*C for planning such a great competition!
