Technique time! 🥋 João Mendes breaks down one of his favorite sweeps: the Scissor Sweep from the Spider Guard.
Starting from double sleeve control with a foot on the bicep, he extends the leg into a shallow lasso, angles off to the side, brings the opponent over, removes the lasso, drives into the side of the knee, opens the elbow, and comes up to finish the sweep. Clean, technical, and a great tool to add to your guard game.
