For our final tribute in our Senior Spotlight series, we are so incredibly proud to celebrate the wonderful Josephine De Leon! 💖
Josephine’s connection to Scripps Performing Arts Academy goes back almost as far as you can go! She first connected with SPAA at a library storytime when she was just 2 years old, wearing her little pink boots. 👢✨
While she started her journey in ballet with a strong interest in Musical Theatre and Acting, Josephine decided to focus more intensely on her classical ballet and dance training in 2020. Since then, she has grown into a beautiful, versatile dancer. Josephine is known for having a big, captivating personality on stage—and an even bigger personality off stage!
Her theatrical roots and incredible performance quality have made her a standout in many memorable roles, including:
    •    🎪 Arabian in The Nutcracker
    •    🐂 Bull
    •    🧙‍♀️ The Fairy Witch
