A long weekend is only as good as your ability to actually be in it. These are the rituals that help. 🤍

→ Write one thing to kick off next week: not a full to-do list—just enough to keep the mental load of what’s waiting from following you into the weekend. Close the tabs. Shut the laptop. 
→ Move your body, change your state: the shift from work to life doesn’t happen on its own. A barre3 class, a walk, 5 minutes of stretching—whatever it takes to tell your nervous system the week is done. 
→ Tidy your space: there’s a difference between cleaning because you have to and cleaning so you can actually settle in. Do it for the latter. 
→ Reach out to someone you love: a call, a voice note, a text that has nothing to do with plans or logistics. Connection that takes you out of your own head is the fastest way back to yourself. 
→ Eat with color and season: summer produce exists to be eaten. Let what’s on your plate be something worth looking at—and devoured. 
→ Give yourself permission to enjoy something fully: pick one thing this weekend—a meal, a moment, a plan you’ve been looking forward to—and actually be there for it. Anticipation is only as good as the presence that follows.
