These are the 5 players who were selected at our trials at Grêmio Professional Academy in Brazil.

Zaid Velarde from Rosarito, Jesus Rivero and Christian Herrera from Tijuana, Carlos Eduardo from Tulsa, Brailo Espinoza from California.

In this third and last step in the process of joining Grêmio, players live, train in their respective categories.

Players were welcomed by Rodrigo Rosa, supervisor at the Grêmio Residence Building complex.

En esta tercera y última etapa del proceso para incorporarse al Grêmio, los jugadores residen y entrenan en sus respectivas categorías.
Se trata del paso más importante; para los jugadores que logran superar esta fase final, esto constituye ya un enorme logro, independientemente de lo que suceda a continuación.

We are pleased to announce that our Grêmio Academy in Brazil, will start to receive players that are interested to live, train and play under the successful Grêmio Brazilian methodology and by professional coaches inside our campus training complex in Porto Alegre, Brazil.

It’s a great opportunity and experience for foreign players to live and train inside one the largest and most successful Youth Soccer Academies in the world.

Players will be living as a Grêmio player during 15 days, training under professional coaches and inserted in a very high level of training methodology play games with a very strong intensity in the matches.

Grêmio FBPA San Diego Nucleo is very excited to announce the launch of our new Grêmio scouting center & Academy into Mexico. 🇲🇽🇪🇪⚽️

Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense now is present in two countries with huge potential young talented players who will have the opportunity to be selected and travel to our Professional Academy in Brazil for an evaluation process to join one the largest and most successful worldwide youth development academies.

Grêmio will not only search and select players to travel to our academy in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
We will start the selection process and the youth development under our Brazilian methodology to prepare players that are looking to persuade a professional career.

Stay tuned as we will announce tryouts very soon, for U15 and U17 age groups categories.

El Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense hace acto de presencia ahora en dos países, con acceso a jóvenes talentos de enorme potencial que tendrán la oportunidad de ser seleccionados y viajar a nuestra Academia Profesional en Brasil para someterse a un proceso de evaluación, con el fin de incorporarse a una de las academias de formación juvenil más grandes y exitosas a nivel mundial.

El Grêmio no se limitará únicamente a buscar y seleccionar jugadores para viajar a nuestra academia en Porto Alegre, Brasil.
Iniciaremos el proceso de selección y la formación juvenil bajo nuestra metodología brasileña, con el objetivo de preparar a aquellos jugadores que aspiran a desarrollar una carrera profesional.

Hello everyone, family and friends.

I want to take a moment to thank everyone who supported me, prayed for me and accompanied me during these last few weeks. Truly, this means a lot to me.

First of all, thank God for this wonderful opportunity. An experience that you can never imagine and that you will never forget. I am sure that nothing has ever been possible without my relationship with Él. God showed me that you have a perfect purpose for each of us.

I also want to thank Grêmio and coach André for opening the doors and giving me this opportunity. Even though I didn’t come out as expected, I understood that God had a greater plan and I fully trusted Él.

This experience was very special for me. Returning to Brazil after 17 years, to the country where I was born, and living this experience in a professional club, wearing the number 17 shirt, going from being a large group to being among the chosen few, training with the under-20 team and being the only player to advance in all the groups... there are things that will remain recorded forever in me memory.

In football, I understood that the level here is different. The demands, intensity and development of players are something completely different. It’s time to see where I am and where I need to improve. It helped me grow as a player and understand what is needed to reach the next level.

It doesn’t end here. It’s just the beginning.

We are very excited for Carlos Eduardo, who lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma 🇺🇸.
He was selected by our scouting coordinator Andre, to come to our Grêmio Academy for the professional trials.

Carlos had a great performance during the trial and he was already training with the Grêmio Category which last Saturday he had a great performance during the match as well.

He is selected by Grêmio directors to join the Grêmio U20 category for one more week to determine if they will offer a contract to join the professional category.

Best of luck to him to achieve his dream of playing Football professionally and in one the largest academies worldwide 🔵⚫️⚪️🌎🇧🇷

Estamos muy entusiasmados por Carlos Eduardo, quien reside en Tulsa, Oklahoma 🇺🇸.
Fue seleccionado por nuestro coordinador de captación, Andre, para asistir a nuestra Grêmio Academy y participar en las pruebas profesionales.

Carlos tuvo un desempeño excelente durante las pruebas y ya se encontraba entrenando con la categoría correspondiente del Grêmio; de hecho, el pasado sábado tuvo también una actuación destacada durante el partido.

We cannot be more happier to announce that 5 players from our scouting group have been selected during the trials to advance to the last step in the process of signing a contract and joining Grêmio Professional Academy in Porto Alegre, Brazil.

These 5 players will live and train inside the Grêmio training complex with their respective age categories of the Grêmio Academy.

They will have one more week to proof why Grêmio should offer a contract to join the club as an academy player.

Estos 5 jugadores vivirán y entrenarán dentro del complejo de entrenamiento del Grêmio, junto a sus respectivas categorías de edad de la Academia del club.

Tendrán una semana más para demostrar por qué el Grêmio debería ofrecerles un contrato para unirse al club como jugadores de la academia.

Our scouting squad had a great week of trials inside our Grêmio Academy in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
Some of our players had a great performance being selected to continue their trials and evaluation living inside the Academy which is the last step in the process to sign a contract and joining the club.
It will be the most important week of their life’s and it all depends about their performance in the last step of the process to join the Grêmio Base Categories.

Nuestro grupo de jugadores tuvieran una excelente semana de pruebas en la Academia Grêmio de Porto Alegre, Brasil.

Algunos de nuestros jugadores destacaron y fueron seleccionados para continuar sus pruebas y evaluación en la Academia, el último paso para firmar un contrato e incorporarse al club.

Será la semana más importante de sus vidas y todo dependerá de su desempeño en esta última etapa para unirse a las categorías inferiores de Grêmio.
