Happy Summer Solstice + International Day of Yoga! 🧘🏻♀️☀️💖
Across many cultures, the Solstice is seen as a celebration of abundance, vitality, and the life-giving power of the sun. It’s also the longest day of sunlight in the year!
I often take for granted the fact that my job enables me to spend a lot of time outdoors teaching and leading events—my former life was one where I had a fancy title working in TV but meant I sat in a chair all day, in offices that sometimes didn’t even have windows. If that’s your work environment, too, I feel you. 🙏
Let the Solstice be a reminder to heed the call of the Sun and go outside whenever you can.
Being in nature in healing. Get sunshine in your eyes. Listen to the birds. Breathe in the fresh air. The most beautiful parts of life are free. 🌱
