Youth wrestling has a discipline problem, not a talent problem

Every parent wants to talk about technique.
Leg attacks. Turns. New systems.

But the kids who separate early don’t win because they know more moves.
They win because they can do boring things longer than everyone else.

Most youth programs are afraid of discipline.
They want kids smiling.
They want parents comfortable.

Wrestling was never meant to be comfortable.
It was meant to teach a child how to obey structure under stress.

If your kid can’t stand still in stance.
Can’t hand fight without complaining.
Can’t drill the same thing for ten minutes without asking “why,”

That’s not a coaching issue.
That’s a parenting issue.

The best youth programs aren’t fun.
They’re clear.
They’re consistent.
And they don’t negotiate with children.

That’s why parents hate them.
And why they produce killers.
