Maxim Khatsenko is your 2026 50k winner! Maxim grew up next to Black Mountain, and even finished the race with his Black Mountain Middle School ID in his pocket. He's raced this multiple times, and this time was the charm! Congrats, Maxim!
Looking back to celebrate our 2026 50k women's podium! Olivia Horgan, Lauren Rugge, and Sophie Modar took the top 3 spots with gusto. Congratulations!

We're just a little over a week out from our races this year! There are still spots available in the 50k, 25k, and half-marathon. If you use code lastchance you can save 10%!
Let's give some love to our volunteers who will be out there on course making sure runners are cool, pumped-up, and ready to push to the finish!
You're invited to our first training run this Saturday at 7am with ! Meet at Hilltop Community Park for 12.5 miles of the best trails of Black Mountain. The route is on our website, so be sure to add it to your watch or Strava.
We'll be raffling off merch before the run and sharing delicious drinks and snacks after. You can choose to run the entire distance, or head out and turn around.
