Inner City Athletic Program - Preventing Childhood Obesity

Inner City Athletic Program has concluded our successful 4-week summer program partnering with Willie Henderson Sports Complex. Our participants learned about nutrition, proper ways to stretch and exercise, teamwork, sports and physical activities, art, bingo, social skills, obstacle course, and flying drones. Free lunches were provided as well as our famous end of the day raffles.

Inner City Athletic Program will be conducting a FREE summer program at Willie Henderson Sports Complex starting July 6th.

Inner City Athletic Program participated in the Fox Fest resource fair at Perry Elementary School. A lot of resources and a lot of fun!

Inner City Athletic Program's CEO attended the Willie Henderson Sports Complex's Basketball Court Dedication. It was a beautiful celebration. In attendance was Councilman Henry L. Foster III, Dwayne & Armon Harvey of the Harvey Foundation, San Diego FC, Parks & Recs, and many nonprofit organizations.

Inner City Athletic Program continues its mission despite lack of funding in 2025. ICAP's summer program, Sky Zone, and Praise in the Park are some of the activities of 2025.
