Front Runners & Walkers San Diego
Front Runners & Walkers San Diego is a running and walking club whose members are primarily LGBTQ+ a We meet in San Diego and in North County.
In San Diego, we meet at the southeast corner of 6th Avenue and Laurel Street in Balboa Park on Saturdays at 8 am, for running and walking, with several routes available from 2½ to 6 miles (4 to 10 km). There are informal Sunday scheduled runs (6-10 miles) that help individuals prepare for races.
* Please be aware that we follow COVID 19 protocols in place that including mask requirements for non vaccinated attendees and recommend physical distancing *

Congrats to our Front Runners who competed in the Gay Games 10k, plus many of the track and field events today! Jerry Buckley came away with the Gold in his age for the 10k and Gilbert Gaona took 3rd in the 400 hurdles.

Though we will miss our Membership Co-Chair (and head of Social Media) Steven Granados, we wish him the best in Ventura!

Apparently 50 (runners and walkers) is the new 40! Crazy to think that a year ago 40 people was our all time high attendance on Tuesday. We have had at least 50 people every Tuesday for over a month now!
