Travelled down the beach in beautiful weather the last few days. We arrived at around 0900 and were welcomed by good action on 20-35lb yellowtail. We’re going to camp on the anchor tonight and give it another go tomorrow.

We arrived home this morning from our Calstar 3-day trip with an excellent load of Bluefin. We spent the duration of the trip fishing tuna and while we did have day time action, most of our action took place in the dark. The bulk majority of our fish were beautiful 80-140 pounds. Huge thanks to Chris Yamada for hosting this trip. We look forward to next year.

Lights out fishing last night for Chris Yamada and the gang. We stayed busy all night, capitalizing on shots of these beauties. Going to try to get a few more big ones today before we call it a trip.

Fishing down south has already been incredible so far this year and is shaping up to be another epic season. Book online at Intrepid.net or text/call the office at 619-224-4088.

We pieced together a nice night before the weather pushed us off the grounds. We looked down the coast for yellows on kelp with no success. Huge thanks to West Coast Jiggerz and David Rico for hosting an awesome trip.

A pair of monsters for Jerrold and Bobby. Last night, the Bluefin played hard to get, but we got them relocated this morning and we're getting some opportunities.

We returned home this morning with a beautiful load of Yellowtail and Yellowfin. The good weather, excellent company, and biting fish made this trip exceptional. The grade of Yellowtails was nothing short of spectacular, with all of them being in the 20-40 pound range, and the bigger ones being 45 pounds or more. And the Yellowfin were 20-60 pounds. Huge thanks to Larry and all of his generous sponsors for putting this ultra-limited load trip together. We are heading back out on a 3-day trip today, hoping to keep the streak going.

Traveling towards home, Chefs Kasey and Kenny put together a gorgeous sushi spread for Larry and the gang.

Another fantastic couple of days. The grade of the yellows has been phenomenal and we were also able to keep steady on Yellowfin. After three days of non-stop action, we are traveling up the line in nice weather.

Fantastic day of Yellowtailing to start out our Larry Brown 7-day. 18-40+ pound yellowtail with some 20-40 pound Yellowfin in the mix. We are going to try it again tomorrow.

As we continue on with our annual maintenance. A lot is going in to the boat this year. We are currently hauled out getting a fresh paint job, rebuild on engines, mast refit, interior work, and much more to continue the boats legacy of luxury. With very good sign of fish around already, we are really looking forward to getting the boat finished and back out fishing.
