Just when they thought the first night was good….
How about night number 2 with 27 more BFT until the wee hours of the AM! Not to mention this gorgeous 200lb kite fish. A new personal best for Mike! This would wrap up trip limits and crew fish as well.
After 2 nights of no sleep, Ryan said he is running on pure adrenaline from such a great trip!

Fishing is definitely picking up! The boys are on the last day of a 3.5 day with our good friend Fritz and company.
Day one would produce two beautiful BFT on the troll at 90 and 140lbs.
That night would be the windfall. With the crew up until 2 am, and the fish finder lit up with a huge school of fish that wanted to eat! 13 total fish, two at 30lbs with the other 11 fish at 80-150lbs.
Stay tuned for an update soon!

The Boys returned yesterday from a 2 day trip. On the way out they stopped on a kelp and landed this gorgeous 25-30lb Yellow tail. They picked up another 5 layer in the trip.
They also had several kite fish hooked and landed 2 nice ones at 90 and 140lbs.
Thank you to our friends, River May and company for joining us on another trip!

The boys are heading back tonight from a 2.5 day trip with our newest GC friends, David Herre and company.
Day one was slow with no fish caught. BUT, today would make up for it! Kite fishing would produce 10 large BFT and a first for one angler that was a trooper and took a bite of the heart.
2 fish were 220lbs and the other 8 were 120-180lbs.
Great trip!

The GC spent 3 days in the slip, after a customer cancelled trip. They left Tuesday on a 2.5 day trip with our new GC friends David and company.
Day 1 was slow, with no fish cooperating. Today has been better so far. Here are two of the nice kite fish that were caught.

After 3 nights in the GC is off and running. Yesterday was our first of a 2.5 day trip with one of our original anglers Ron and his friends.
Day one fishing was slow with stops on tuna that would not bite. Last night our 6 anglers were able to land 3 beautiful Bluefin, all over 100lbs!
Congrats to Ron, Jarrod and Bryan! For Jarrod it is his first Bluefin and it was Bryan’s new personal Best! And to Brad who caught the nice Yellowtail.

We had the pleasure of welcoming a new group, not only to the GC, but to deep sea fishing.
Thanks to the Yamane family for coming out with us. While fishing has still been slow, our group did come home with 8 nice yellowtail. Not bad for never fishing these waters before!

The boys are on their way in from a 2.5 day trip. Fishing remains tough.
They were able to catch 5 really nice Yellowtail and limits of rockfish.
Let’s hope those Tuna decide to come up and start biting again soon!
We have a 3 day gap and will be heading out again on the 12th.
