Making the best of rough seas!
Thank you to Matt and his friends for joining us on their first GC trip. The seas were no that easy, but this group was at the rail and managed to come home with a nice catch.
They returned home this morning from a 2.5 day trip with limits of BFT and 3 Dorado.

Great fishing after the storm!
Thank you to Marelli and friends for another great trip. A special shout out to Handsome, as it was his birthday.
With great weather and a slow first day, on their 3.5 day, the boys managed to come home this morning with three day angler limits and some crew BFT as well as 15 gorgeous Yellowtail, caught on anchor.
This group is always fun, and the crew had their hands full with plenty of bantering, laughs and all over good fun. Thanks Mike!

After spending a few days in port, waiting out an offshore weather system, the boys made it out with our GC friend Sid and company. They left on Friday and returned yesterday morning.
While they were hoping for big tuna, they found just as much fun in a mixed variety of fish instead. They came home with some BFT, beautiful YT and some Dorado. I'll take that catch all day long!
Thank you Sid for another fun trip with you, your family and friends!

Great ending to an already fun trip. The boys finished day two today with Joe and company. What a finish it was. They ended their last day today with a total of 23 BFT, 4 Yellowfin, 7 gorgeous dorado and 10 beautiful Yellowtail, all in that 15-30lb range. Add the Mako shark as icing on an already delicious cake!
Well done Captain Kayden, crew, Joe and friends. Love you guys!

And Captain Kayden, crew and our friends Joe and company are continuing the lucky streak! They left on Tuesday for a 2.5 day trip. Yesterday was a nice mixture of 4 Yellowfin in that 40-55lb range, 5 of these gorgeous Dorado and boat limits of BFT. Then just to make it interesting Kayden hooked and brought in this approximately 120lb Mako! Can you say Mako steaks Chef Terry style?!
What a great day one! Good luck today boys!

The boys are headed home after their amazing 3.5 day trip. Doug and company had some of the best fishing.
They ended today with 3 day limits of tuna plus some boat fish, 9 gorgeous Yellowtail and this beautiful Dorado. What a trip!
Thank you Doug for another fun trip with you all. Congrats to Captain Kayden and crew for another successful GC trip!

GC left on Friday for a 3.5 day with Doug and company. Day one was a slow pick of troll fish. There is so much fish out there. It is just getting them to bite. They would end the first day with 10 BFT in that 20-40lb range. Early morning in the dark landed them another 12. They even had one angler who caught their first tuna and was brave enough to follow tradition and took a bite of the heart!
Today will finish day two of the fun. Good luck boys, have fun!

The GC is killin it again! This time with Captain Kayden at the helm, the boys left Tuesday night for a 2.5 day with our friends Theo, Doug and company. For some it is their first time fishing for tuna. We also have 2 father/son combos on the trip which is always cool to see.
Day one was action packed. Even though it started slow, this group landed limits plus boat fish. If that wasn’t good enough, Kayden stopped on a school late that night that would produce day two limits of tuna!
Today they are having fun kelping. They have hooked 3 Yelliwfin and 2 dorado. I am proud to say that, with our fishing ethics, these small, young fish were all released so they can grow up and be next seasons catch!
Have fun everyone!

The boys ended their trip with Rich and friends with limits of Bluefin. They returned yesterday morning with a group that enjoyed the fishing and each other.
I have to give a special shout out to this inspirational angler in the group.
While you would not guess it from this photo, Herb is about to turn 92!
To all of us who think that life has an age limit, I say, look at this man still at the rail and thankful for every day he gets to be a part of it. What a pleasure to meet you Herb. May god continue to bless you with tight lines!

Transmission fixed, the boys left Saturday for a 2.5 day with our friend Rich and company.
Day one yesterday was a success with first day limits of BFT. They are that smaller grade, but very fun and manageable for this group!
