Excel Long Range Sportfishing

Finished up our trip with excellent bass fishing and a few more yellowtail. Thank you to Coronado Brewing Co. for another awesome trip!

We are currently out on our annual Coronado Brewing 8-day trip and it has been nothing short of spectacular! Great fishing, great weather, great food, and some outstanding beer! Life is good on the BIG X!

A very nice start to our Brown 4-day. Fast paced yellowtail action that lasted into the dark. Also picked up a wahoo, a tuna, and lots of marlin(all released). El Niño 2026 is here.

Wrapping up our annual Casper 3-day trip where the weather was a bit nasty, but the good yellowtail fishing kept us at the rail. Thank you to the Casper family for putting together another fantastic group of Anglers.

The Merritt group has been mixing it up the past couple of days catching nice grade tuna and wahoo. Wahooooooooo!!!!

Very fun tuna fishing down here right now with everyone getting in on the action. Sprinkle in a little bit of yellowtail, dorado, and a token wahoo, and you've got yourself a great start to a fantastic trip.

Out for eight days with the Merritt Charter. Grilled Swordfish, couscous, and fresh vegetable medley for dinner tonight. Headed down. Wish us luck....

Been scraping up yellows wherever we can on our way up the line. Some really good quality around right now.

The tuna fishing has been very consistent this trip, and we're glad to have it. We are now moving up the line on the hunt for some biting yellowtail. Wish is luck.....
