After 2 weeks of travel thru Japan. I’m excited to be back and share space with you.
One of my favorite things to do when I travel is visit spas and wellness centers to see how different cultures give and receive selfcare treatments. I was able to get a 60 min massage in Tokyo day 4. Boy did I need it after 15 hrs of travel, a 16 hr time zone shift, and 20,000 steps on average a day there!
I also got to experience a body scrub and soak in mineral hot springs onsen, in Hakone. Wow the warm soak in the lush mountains of Hakone really brought me back into balance. This peaceful healing space was built with such intention and love. It truly revived my soul. I highly recommend 2 night in the historic Fujiya Hotel!
Last beauty treatment was in Osaka. I was able to Google Translate a deep conditioning hair treatment and blow out. It was pretty funny watching them (2 of them) blow dry my thick, frizzy curling hair!
I’m feel so much gratitude reflecting on my 17 days there. I’m so happy to be home too. I always miss my pup and my bed when I am gone. 🐶
