Yesterday was the IBJJF San Diego Open, and =RADA= stepped on the mats with only two competitors.

The result? Two athletes. Two gold medals. 🥇🥇

In the Adult Black Belt Middle Heavy division, DAVI LORETTO | JJ Athlete | Coach displayed beautiful, technical, calm, and composed jiu-jitsu. He controlled his matches with maturity and finished the final with a rear naked choke.

After several years away from competition, Davi decided to come back — and after only three tournaments, he is already showing that he is back to stay and make his name known. Remember this name. He is going to be a problem for a lot of people.

In the Master 1 Purple Belt division, our student Karsten also showed great control, intelligence, and composure throughout his matches, taking home gold and defeating the current World Champion in his division 11–4 on the finals.

Once again, this proves something we strongly believe in: you don’t need an army of people to build strong soldiers.

We are extremely proud of both of you and of the way you represented RADA on and off the mats. The work continues.

Next stop: IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu CON and IBJJF World Master! 🔥

Every great journey starts with a strong foundation.

Our Little Champs program (ages 2.5–4) is designed to prepare young students for the next step in their Jiu-Jitsu journey.

Through fun games, obstacle courses, and age-appropriate activities, we help develop coordination, balance, focus, and confidence while introducing the fundamental movements of Jiu-Jitsu.

And of course… every class includes plenty of smiles, movement, and playful sparring, where our little ones get to put into practice everything they’ve learned.

Because when learning feels like play, growth comes naturally.

This past weekend, our team stepped onto the mats at the IBJJF Los Angeles Open and made us incredibly proud. 🥋🏆

While we’re always happy to celebrate the medals, what makes us most proud is everything they represent.

The early mornings. The consistency. The hard training. The courage to step onto the competition mats and give their very best.

Every tournament is another opportunity to learn, grow, and become stronger, regardless of the final result.

Our 3 to 4-year-old program is designed to help little ones learn through movement, games, and age-appropriate Jiu-Jitsu activities.

Every class is an opportunity to develop coordination, balance, focus, listening skills, confidence, and social interaction, all in a safe, encouraging, and fun environment.

While they’re having fun, they’re also building important skills that will benefit them both on and off the mats.
