Behind every Pacific Cup boat is a crew that makes the journey possible.

They trim, steer, navigate, cook, repair, stand watch, keep spirits high, and push through the long miles between San Francisco Bay and Kaneohe Bay. The Pacific Cup is a skipper’s race, but it is powered by the people who show up, work together, and become a team offshore.

Today we’re spotlighting one of the crew members taking on the 2,070-mile adventure across the Pacific.

We are doing the So Cal 300! A coastal race from beautiful Santa Barbara to San Diego, heading offshore through the Channel Islands. This is a perfect event to sample a shorter offshore race and advance your skills. We'll be taking our quick Mills designed DK46 on this sprint with a team of select J/World coaches. Two days of practice followed by a race down the California coast. Limited berths available, contact us for details!
