Which would you rather have more of?
I’d say muscle for a couple reasons. It keeps you upright, it is more metabolically active, it doesn’t jiggle as much and it helps you move things!
Build and keep muscle it dies a body good. 🙌🏼

Some like to start the morning with coffee…I prefer to start with protein, creatine, glutamine, marine greens, cacao, cinnamon, blueberries and soy milk. 🤷🏽♀️
Followed by 10-30 deep breathes.

One of my favorite ways to Get Fit is to hike! I like to teach people about the basics, safety, and share the enjoyment of nature! I am a certified Trail Guide and I’ve been hiking my whole life. So if you need some guidance, let’s do it!
Can do small groups, partners, or one on one.
Hiking is good for us and so many ways! Balance, stamina, mental and emotionally.

Hiking is one of the best ways to get your cardio in!
In my opinion, of course. 😎

🌿You get to see pretty things and breathe fresh oxygen
🌼Sometimes you see beautiful flowers
❤️Gets your heart rate up
⚖️Very good for your balance
🧠Good for the brain

….its too hot for most dogs to hike during these summer months! 🫶🏽
I feel we shouldn’t have to say it but maybe common sense isn’t too common but when it’s hot dogs are more at risk for heat exhaustion than humans! Working in the parks I’ve seen, heard and read about a lot of issues with dogs in the last 5 to 7 years dying on trails. So make sure if you take your dog hiking that you not only carry water and snacks for yourself but your dog!
And think about what it would be like to hike with a fur coat on? Would you be hot?
If so, leave them at home and you probably shouldn’t go either! 😆
Also, it’s a good idea to have the phone number of the local ranger/visitor center in your phone in case of emergencies!
