Members of H1 Unlimited are in New Town, North Dakota this weekend exploring the area as a potential future race site.
Unlimited racing has history here. In 1964 and 1965, the Dakota Cup races were held at Four Bears, marking the only appearances of the H1 in the area.
During the visit, boats were on display while H1 representatives met with local leaders and community members to explore what it could take to bring Unlimited racing back to New Town.
There’s still plenty to discuss and explore, but it’s exciting to revisit a place that was part of Unlimited history more than 60 years ago.
Could H1 Unlimited racing return to North Dakota? Stay tuned!

For those who have not seen my Dad's (Steve Montgomery) page...he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia which is a cancer of the bone marrow. He will be receiving treatments starting the 31st near his home in North Idaho.
He says he is feeling ok but doesn’t have much energy to move around. Get better soon Dad I love you so much.
He really appreciated all of the love he received from everyone when him and Grandma Deb showed up to testing in Tri-Cities. I am really hoping to make that a yearly thing. Please join us in wishing him good luck and sending positive thoughts and prayers as we hope for a good outcome.
