📓Goals vs Standards🏋🏽♂️
Goals are performance based, they reinforce what we want to accomplish. Standards are behavior based, they reinforce how we behave.
Behave at a world-class level and we will perform at one just as consistently. It doesn’t guarantee “winning a championship,” but we continue meeting the standards and hold our team leaders and teammates accountable to them. This ensures that we will consistently behave at world-class level despite the challenge.
Never miss a chance to hold someone accountable. Have moral courage to say something, but always be kind. Be specific in both praise and constructive feedback. Recognize specific behaviors that teammates are exhibiting which help the team accomplish its mission/goals
