Honoring the Legends of FMA Tournament

In the San Diego Filipino Martial Arts (FMA) community, there’s nothing more important than fostering the teachings of our heritage, our traditions and diverse arts.

The following groups have come together to promote FMA and to honor the “Legends” that have paved the way for our systems to thrive. Triple 7 Eskrima-San Antonio, TX under Master Erik Buenaflor; Intrepid Arnis-Eskrima under Master Romeo De Los Reyes; Pulahan-Derobio Eskrima under Master Chaz Siangco; Inayan Eskrima under G**o Norm Malonzo; and 12Pares Eskrima Orihinal under GM Steve Del Castillo will be hosting the 5th Annual “Honoring the Legends of FMA” Tournament to be held on Sunday, October 11th, 2026 at the Otay Recreation Center in the City Chula Vista, CA. However, we wouldn’t be able to keep serving our community and perpetuating our culture without the continued support from local businesses, cultural groups, and peers like you.

In return, the Tournament hosts will feature your company/group/organization as our sponsor at the 5th Annual “Honoring the Legends of FMA” Tournament.

This year we have added benefits to our Diamond level sponsorship. All of our rings will be named after our Diamond sponsors and they can have their logo/banner placed ringside.

This will help your organization gain exposure among the San Diego martial arts community and in the broader Southern California area.

Here are our levels of sponsorship:
Bronze: $50 - ad in flier/program.
Silver: $100 - ad in flier/program, logo on banner.
Gold: $200 - ad in flier/program, logo on banner. Table at venue.
Sapphire: $500 - ad in flier/program, logo on banner and Tournament T-Shirt. Table at venue.
Diamond: $1000 - ad in flier/program, logo on banner and Tournament T-Shirt. Table at venue. Tournament appreciation plaque/certificate.

Disclaimer: As hosts of the 5th Annual Honoring the Legends of FMA Tournament, we will open our venue to any and all vendors and partners who want to share their time, resources and products during our event. The spirits of Filipino martial arts legends Antonio “Tatang” Ilustrisimo, Filemon “Momoy” Cañete, Mike Inay, and Braulio Pedoy have entered the battlefield to face a common foe: CANCER.

On Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 11am to 4pm in San Diego, California, Armas Filomeno and Bunal Brand, alongside fellow sponsors continue the fight, bringing the community together through instruction, education, friendly competition, and brotherhood in the Filipino martial arts.

Proceeds benefit Family Reach, an organization supporting families affected by cancer.
