Thank you Ed Muna and Kelley for hosting your friends on Hypnautic yesterday. What a great group of people and perfect weather was dished up for your afternoon/evening.

Seven years ago, we made one of the best—and CRAZIEST—decisions of our lives… we bought a Catamaran in Australia!

After two years of searching, we finally found our perfect Lagoon in Queensland. She was in pristine condition so we knew she was worth the wait.

August 3, 2019, Hypnautic left Australia with Captain Nico (Yacht Delivery Solutions - Pacific and Asia) and crew for Hawaii. They arrived November 3, three months after departing Australia

We visited her a couple of times… then COVID hit, and she was basically placed under “house arrest” in Hawaii for seven months. All of our travel plans were canceled multiple times.

When they finally allowed us to go over to their island, we put together an incredible crew—including our son, Jay—and brought her home to San Diego July 31, 2020.

People say the two happiest days of boat ownership are the day you buy it and the day you sell it. Seven years later… we’re still waiting for that second day.

Thank you to everyone who has cruised with us, laughed with us, celebrated with us, and made memories aboard Hypnautic. Here’s to many more sunsets, sea stories, and adventures together!
