Kids Need More Movement and Less Scrolling!
Social media can be fun, but too much screen time can quickly become a habit that keeps kids sitting, scrolling, and disconnected from real-world experiences.
Physical activities like Taekwondo, Parkour, Hip Hop Dance, and Tumbling at Team XSAMA give kids something screens can’t:
movement, face-to-face friendships, confidence, challenges, and real accomplishments. đź’Ş
Help your child put down the phone, get moving, and discover what they’re capable of!

Helping your child deal with bullying
Help Your Child Develop Confident Body Language
Confidence isn't only about what we say.
How we carry ourselves can also communicate confidence.
Encourage your child to practice:
Standing tall
Keeping their head up
Making appropriate eye contact
Speaking clearly
Using a calm, firm voice
Walking away confidently when appropriate
This is one area where structured physical activities can be especially valuable.
In Taekwondo classes for kids, for example, students regularly practice standing confidently, speaking loudly and clearly, following instructions, performing in front of others, and working through challenging situations.
Over time, those small experiences can help build genuine self-confidence.

Dance is more than learning choreography and moving to music. For children, teens, and young adults, dance classes can help build confidence, coordination, physical fitness, creativity, focus, and social skills—all while providing a fun way to stay active.
At Team XSAMA School of Movement in San Diego, dance is part of our movement-based approach to helping students become stronger, more confident, and more comfortable expressing themselves.

Parkour Is a Full-Body Workout for Adults
One reason adults are discovering parkour is that it provides a functional, full-body workout.
Instead of sitting on a machine and training one muscle group at a time, parkour requires different parts of your body to work together.
Jumping challenges your legs. Climbing and vaulting challenge your upper body.
Balancing and landing require core stability and body control.
Team XSAMA School of Movement
We offer a safe place with highly experiences instructors and staff for students of all ages to learn the fundamentals of extreme body movements including Martial Arts, Parkour, Martial Arts Tricking, Gymnastics Floor Tumbling and Character Development. ALL in 1 place, ALL for 1 price.
