Remembering Richard Sheppard 🤍🌊✨

Our community is gathering to honor and celebrate Richard’s life. Rich was a devoted husband to Claudia, proud dad to Owen and a friend who filled this academy with smiles and laughter every time he walked in.

We’re grateful for the joy and love he brought into our lives and are excited to celebrate him and support Owen and Claudia!

🏄 Paddle Out Celebration

August 16th | 9:00 AM at La Jolla Shores - between Lifeguard Tower 32 and the Main Tower

Bring a board, chair, or blanket. All are welcome, on the water or the shore.

Celebration continues at Eppig Brewing, Shelter Island at 2:00 PM

We spend so much time watching the podium we forget what the whole pursuit was for.

It was not the medal.

It was watching someone we love become more capable than they were a few weeks ago.

That is the only reward that stays.
