This past weekend at USA SUP National Championships in Gig Harbor, Washington was so much fun.

Such a cool experience to have 3 days of high level racing with people from all over the U.S., and even Mexico and Canada.

Getting the opportunity to do all 3 disciplines of sprinting, technical racing and distance was fun and challenging.

I’m very content with my results of:
4th- 100M Sprint
5th- 10k Distance (a true 10k)
3rd- 🥉Technical Course Race

I feel like I learned a ton, got to show off some of the hard work I have been putting in, and got to deepen and create new friendships.

Overall Epic Time.

Recap of Day 1 of USA SUP National Championships
100M Sprints

First time ever doing this format of racing.
It was super fun and challenging- but definitely some room to grow. I enjoyed it and grateful I had the opportunity to do it.

An amazing time at the Malibu Downwinder. Conditions lined up nicely. It was a beautiful day.

Excited to have finished 3rd overall for men and women. 2nd woman overall behind . And hot on the tail of 😉.

At the race- I realized that 2 of the last 4 years I have actually won this race for the women 😂 and gotten 2nd for the other. My name is engraved on their plaque, which is super cool.

But I have to say my favorite part about this race, besides the course and the food- are the hardware! The mugs that Gary Fortune makes are the coolest. They are a staple in our house (collection is showcased on the last slide).
