Good evening everyone, attached are two videos and a photo from the vertidrain aerification and leaching process.

The vertidrain or shatter tine process is intended to break up the vertical profile of the green/soil to allow drainage. You can see in the video how the aerify tines create a kick breaking up or shattering of the soil by going to a depth of 8” and kicking.

The photo shows the small impact sprinkler heads slowly soaking the greens for 8 hours filling the profile with water and applied products intended to flush the salts deeper into the ground once maximum saturation has been achieved.

In the second video, you see our greens roller pushing the turf canopy holes closed sitting just above the freshly loosened soil below. The rolling takes place after the 8 hours of watering.

This process is time consuming, costly, and most importantly completed setting a path forward to complete the summer season.

Our greens handled it remarkably well with the exception of a few areas where we have had some wounds from disease and salt affected areas. We expect them to heal quickly due to this effort.
