8 Weeks to Kona 🌺 for Jeff Anderegg!

People often think coaching is about training plans.

It isn’t. It’s about showing up.

It’s about adjusting the plan when life gets busy.

It’s about celebrating the wins and learning from the hard races.

It’s about trust.

I’ve known Tamara Anderegg since junior high, and nearly ten years ago, she encouraged Jeff to reach out to me when he decided to chase Ironman.

Since then, we’ve worked together through 14 Ironman finishes while he’s balanced life as a physician, husband, dad, and everything else that comes with a full life.

In eight weeks, we’ll be back on the Big Island, where Jeff will stand on the start line for Ironman number 15 at the Ironman World Championship in Kona.

As his coach, I couldn’t be prouder.

Not because of the number. Because of the consistency.

Year after year.
Workout after workout.
Choice after choice.

That’s what gets you to Kona.

Jeff and Tamara, thank you for trusting me to be part of this journey. Let’s make Ironman number 15 one to remember. 🌺

I’m no longer training for the body I had.

I’m training for the life I still want to live.

💙 What are you training for these days?

I don’t want this retreat to feel like another vacation. 🦋🌊

I want it to feel like the week you finally exhale.

🧑‍🍳 The week someone else cooks.
☕️ The week you wake up without rushing.
👯‍♀️ The week you laugh with women who feel like they’ve known you forever.
🦋 The week you remember who you were before life got so loud.

If that’s what you’ve been craving, I’d love to save you a seat.

If this is speaking to you, send me the word RETREAT and let’s see if it’s the right fit.

📖 Welcome to the first Memoir Monday. 🦋🌊

For the last six months, I’ve been writing my memoir. This week, I found myself stuck on Chapter 7.

It’s the chapter after I asked for a divorce. After I moved out. After the life I thought I’d have came to an end.

To keep writing, I pulled out the journals I kept during that season.

Reading them wasn’t easy.

The pages brought me right back to the fear, the uncertainty, and the words that were said, on both sides, that left deep scars. Some words don’t just break your heart. They make you question your worth.

Am I really that bad?
Did I deserve to be spoken to like that?

But those journals reminded me of something else.

When I didn’t know who to talk to, I wrote.

When I couldn’t make sense of what I was feeling, I wrote.

When I felt like I’d lost my voice, I wrote.

Those pages didn’t just document one of the hardest seasons of my life.

They became part of my healing.

Today, when I read them, I don’t see a broken woman. I see a woman doing the best she could with what she knew at the time. And I have so much compassion for her.

That’s why writing this memoir has been so emotional.

It’s not about proving who was right or wrong. It’s about honoring the truth of my experience and recognizing how much healing can happen when we’re willing to face our own story.

If sharing these moments helps even one woman feel less alone, then every difficult chapter has been worth writing.

Every Monday, I’ll be sharing a little behind the scenes of this memoir, the memories, the lessons, and the moments that shaped the woman I am today.

Welcome to Memoir Monday. 🦋💃🌊

Six months later and this retreat is still teaching me things. 🦋

I’ve crossed 15 Ironman finish lines and had to completely unlearn everything I knew about training.

Ladies, after 40, more is not the answer.

Save this if you’ve been training hard and wondering why nothing’s changing. Drop in the comments, what’s the biggest fitness myth you were told in midlife?

We talk a lot about strength training and nutrition in midlife.

But nobody talks about the stories.

The ones you’ve been carrying since your teens. Your 20s. Your 30s. The ones someone told you, or the ones you made up yourself and repeated so many times they started to feel true.

Your 50s aren’t the beginning of the end. They’re where you decide which stories come with you and which ones finally get left behind.

Those stories can be rewritten. I’ve done it. I’ve watched my clients do it.

Which one are you ready to rewrite?

I am 54 years old and I'm in better shape, have more confidence, and feel stronger than I did in many of my younger years.

Not because I got lucky.
Not because I found a magic pill.

Because I stopped making excuses and started making myself a priority.

The truth is, your 40s, 50s, and beyond do not have to be a slow decline.

You can build strength.
You can regain energy.
You can feel confident in your own skin again.

The question isn't whether it's possible.

The question is whether you're ready to stop waiting and start becoming the woman you know you're capable of being.

❤️ If you're a woman 40+ who is ready to rebuild your strength, confidence, and identity, DM me "POWER" and let's talk.
