Change your body. Change the story of your life.

Most people don’t walk into a gym because everything is going great.

Usually, something feels off.

They’re tired more often. Their clothes fit differently. They don’t feel as strong as they used to. Somewhere along the way, they stopped feeling like themselves.

So they decide to do something about it.

At first, progress is almost invisible. The weights still feel heavy. The mirror doesn’t change overnight.

But they keep coming back.

Then little things start happening.

They sleep better. They have more energy. They stop getting winded walking up the stairs. They add weight to the bar. They finish workouts that would have crushed them a few months earlier.

And then other people start noticing.

A friend asks what they’ve been doing.

A family member says, “You look great.”

Someone at work tells them they seem different.

Sometimes the people around us notice the change before we fully recognize it ourselves.

Eventually, the changes become impossible to ignore.

Their body composition improves. Their clothes fit better. They look stronger.

But the biggest shift is deeper.

They’ve built strength, stamina, confidence, and enough small wins to trust themselves again.

And that confidence starts showing up everywhere else.

They say yes to the trip. They play harder with their kids. They take on challenges differently. They stop wondering whether their body can keep up with the life they want to live.

You may start because you want to look better.

But if you stay with it long enough, you realize you’re building something much bigger.

A body that gives you more freedom.

A mind that trusts itself.

And a life that suddenly feels like it has a lot more possibilities.

1% Better Every Single Day

Nobody changes their life in one workout.

Nobody builds confidence from one lift.
Nobody gets healthy from one good meal.
Nobody becomes stronger because they were motivated for a week.

The people who make the biggest transformations rarely do anything extraordinary on a single day.

They simply refuse to stop showing up.

One extra rep.
Five more pounds.
One better choice at lunch.
One walk after dinner.
One earlier bedtime.
One workout when it would have been easier to skip.

By themselves, those decisions don’t seem like much.

But stack them day after day, week after week, year after year, and eventually you wake up stronger than you were, healthier than you were, and more capable than you ever thought possible.

The challenge is that progress rarely happens by accident.

It happens when your effort has direction.

When someone helps you focus on the fundamentals before chasing intensity.

When each workout builds on the last instead of starting over.

When you’re held accountable on the days motivation disappears.

When someone sees your potential before you do and reminds you to keep going.

That’s the power of good coaching.

Not because your coach does the work for you.

But because they help ensure the work you’re doing actually moves you forward.

That’s the beauty of pursuing progress.

You don’t have to become a different person overnight.

You just have to become a slightly better version of yourself today than you were yesterday.

Keep stacking the wins.

Because one day you’ll look back and realize it was never one big moment that changed your life.

It was the hundreds of small decisions you made when no one was watching…

and the Coach who helped you keep making them.

1% better. Every single day.

Progress rarely happens because someone finally “tries harder.”

More often, it happens when they slow down long enough to understand the fundamentals.

Today wasn’t really about getting to the top of the rope. It was about learning the foot lock, finding the right position, trusting the technique, and practicing each step with patience.

Different starting points. Different abilities. Same process.

Practice the fundamentals. Make the correction. Try again. Build confidence one small win at a time.

That’s what coaching is supposed to look like.

Not simply telling someone what to do, but taking the time to show them. To encourage them when it feels awkward. To celebrate the progress that others may never notice. And to remind them that they don’t have to master everything on the first attempt.

Sometimes the most meaningful moments in the gym aren’t the fastest times or the heaviest lifts.

They’re the moments when people slow down, connect, learn, and realize they’re capable of more than they thought.

Practice. Technique. Patience. Progression.

That’s how confidence is built, and eventually, how we make it to the top.

WEEK 9: CALM BEFORE THE STORM ⚡️

We are entering the final stretch of the Achilles cycle.

The work you’ve put in over the last eight weeks is already there. This week is about sharpening it, moving better, becoming more efficient, and building the confidence to perform when the intensity rises.

Because strength only matters when you can use it.

When you can stay composed under fatigue. Maintain your technique when your heart rate is high. Keep moving when your legs are heavy. Run another interval without falling apart. And trust the work you’ve done when it’s time to test yourself.

Monday sharpens the sn**ch and challenges your ability to cycle a barbell under pressure. Tuesday builds pressing strength and midline control. Wednesday develops single-leg strength, grip, and the stamina to keep working when fatigue sets in. Thursday is an opportunity to improve your rope climbs and build real gymnastics capacity. Friday brings running and barbell cycling together, demanding both discipline and grit.

Saturday gives us two ways to get better:

CrossFit: Partner endurance built around communication, teamwork, and sustained effort.

HYROX: 1000m run repeats designed to help you find your pace, hold it, and repeat it, building the running economy, aerobic power, and confidence needed to perform on race day.

Sunday remains our long conditioning day for HYROX and marathon preparation. This is where we build the engine, durability, and mental patience required to keep moving long after the initial excitement wears off.

This week isn’t about doing less.

It’s about doing everything with intention.

Move well. Push when it’s time to push. Stay composed when it gets uncomfortable. Leave each session more prepared than when you walked in.

The storm is coming. This week, we make sure we’re ready for it. ⚡️

Every strong person you see started somewhere.

An empty bar.

A first workout.

A little uncertainty.

No one starts with confidence. No one starts with a personal record.

They start by showing up.

One workout becomes another.

One small win builds a little confidence.

A little confidence becomes a little more weight on the bar.

Over time, those small victories begin to stack.

Not overnight.

So gradually you hardly notice.

Until one day you walk over to a bar that once felt impossible… and you lift it.

That’s the funny thing about strength.

It rarely changes your life all at once.

It changes the way you live it.

You carry your kids a little easier.

You hike the trail without thinking twice.

You recover faster.

You stand a little taller.

You trust your body instead of worrying about it.

You stop asking, “Can I?” and start believing, “I can.”

And while everyone else sees the weight on the bar…

You know what it really represents.

Years of choosing growth over comfort.

Proof that small, consistent choices become extraordinary change.

Because strength was never about the barbell.

It was always about building a body, and a life, that gives you the freedom to do more, experience more, and be there for the people who matter most.

Strong looks good on you 🫶🏽

Some people wait for motivation.

Others build habits.

Every name on this list represents someone who chose to show up, again and again. Not because every workout was easy, but because they understood that meaningful progress is built through consistency.

A special congratulations to our June Top 3:

🥇 Vanessa — 49 visits
🥈 Salomé W. — 44 visits
🥉 Lorraine C. — 34 visits

And an extra shoutout to Vanessa for claiming the top spot this month. Forty-nine visits in a single month is an incredible display of commitment, consistency, and work ethic. Congratulations on setting the standard.

Congratulations to everyone who earned a spot in June’s Committed Club.

Your commitment raises the standard and makes our community stronger.

Here’s to another month of showing up, putting in the work, and continuing our pursuit of becoming better than we were yesterday.

See you on the leaderboard 🥳💪🏽

CrossFit Games Week is here 🥳

This is one of our favorite weeks of the year.

Every summer, the fittest athletes in the world gather to answer one question:

Who’s the most well-rounded athlete on Earth?

They aren’t tested on one thing. They’re tested on everything.

Strength.
Power.
Speed.
Endurance.
Skill.
Mental toughness.
The ability to adapt when the challenge changes.

While most of us aren’t chasing a podium finish, we are chasing the same qualities.

We want to be stronger.
Move better.
Build a bigger engine.
Learn new skills.
Become more resilient.
And prove to ourselves that we’re capable of more than we thought.

That’s what this week is all about.

Throughout the week, you’ll take on workouts inspired by memorable moments from CrossFit Games history, not to compare yourself to the best in the world, but to experience the kind of well-rounded fitness that makes CrossFit so unique.

Some workouts will challenge your strength.
Some will challenge your skill.
Some will test your conditioning.
Others will reward patience, strategy, and grit.

Every one of them will leave you better than when you walked in.

So come ready to work, ready to learn, and ready to have some fun.

This is Games Week.

Let’s Show Up and Train!

07/16/2026

There’s a moment in training when everything starts to click.

The weight moves faster.

Your feet feel lighter.

You react instead of hesitate.

Something that once looked intimidating suddenly feels possible.

That moment rarely happens by accident.

It comes from being coached, challenged, and pushed beyond the effort you would have chosen on your own. It comes from someone seeing more in you, refining the details, and asking for one more rep when you still have something left.

Over time, you don’t just become stronger.

You become more powerful, more athletic, and more confident in what your body can do.

You move differently.

You carry yourself differently.

And you start approaching hard things with the belief that you can handle them.

That’s what keeps people coming back.

Not just the workout.

The feeling of discovering you’re capable of more than you thought.

And once you experience that…

You realize the greatest thing you’ll ever build in the gym isn’t strength.

It’s belief in yourself.

07/13/2026

There’s something special about the start of a new week.

Not because Monday is magical, but because it gives us another opportunity to start fresh.

No matter how last week went, this week is yours to write.

Over the next few days, you’ll challenge yourself, celebrate a few wins, laugh with friends, and probably surprise yourself once or twice along the way.

You’ll leave class a little stronger than when you walked in.

A little more energized.

A little less stressed.

And by the time Friday rolls around, you’ll look back and realize it wasn’t just another week of workouts.

It was a week of keeping promises to yourself.

A week of choosing your health.

A week of investing in the person you’re becoming.

That’s why we love what we do.

It’s never been about checking a workout off a list.

It’s about walking out of the gym feeling better than when you walked in, and carrying that feeling into the rest of your life.

So make tomorrow the start of a great week.

We’ll be here, ready to coach, encourage, and celebrate every win along the way.

Let’s make it one to be proud of. 🥳💪🏽

07/05/2026

This week’s challenge: The Baseline.

For Time:
500m Row
40 Air Squats
30 AbMat Sit-ups
20 Push-ups
10 Strict Pull-ups

At first glance, it looks simple, just a short “for time” test.

But at Oso, we know better.

This isn’t about moving fast at all costs. It’s about answering a more important question:

How hard can you push while still moving well?

Can you maintain your standards when your heart rate climbs?
Can you stay disciplined when fatigue sets in?
Can you keep every rep honest when the clock starts demanding shortcuts?

That’s what makes testing meaningful.

The goal isn’t just to finish fast.
The goal is to move with intensity without compromising quality.

Because real fitness isn’t just about capacity.
It’s about control, consistency, and composure under pressure.

This week, test your engine, but more importantly, test your discipline.

Move well. Push hard. Leave no doubt.
