Thank you to everyone who came out and bowled today’s Youth 3-2-1 End of Summer Showdown! We had 24 total entries (7 scratch and 17 handicap) 🎳

We were able to award $2,190 in total scholarship with $700 of that being added from our scholarship fund which is more than the $500 initially guaranteed 💵

We were also able to award (2) Junior Gold Qualifying Spots to Bryson Buckner and Noé Garcia🏅

Complete results are in the attached photos, but congratulations to Easton Dominguez for taking home the win in the scratch division and earning $300 in scholarship, and Aiden Villanueva for taking home the win in the handicap division and earning $500 in scholarship.

This was our first youth singles tournament of this kind and self admittedly we did have one mistake in the handicap division. We should’ve taken (9) bowlers after the first round and we only took (8). Because of this we are awarding Bandit Beck (who qualified 9th in the first round) $80 in scholarship. We sincerely apologize for the mishap.

A very good scholarship prize fund and day of bowling for our youth bowlers! Be on the lookout for future youth tournaments here at Astro including next weekend’s Labor Day Weekend Books and Binders Youth/Adult Doubles and the PBA Jr Regional Qualifier in October 🎳

Astro SuperBowl Guests, unfortunately during the storm tonight our iconic BOWL sign was knocked down by the very strong winds. We are currently waiting on word from the city as well as others on the next step forward because the sign fell into the side street next to the bowling center as well as it being very much in the way on our property.

Everything is business as usual, just with a giant sign in the way.

Please bear with us over the next few days as we figure out the best steps forward to get it out of the way. Thank you for your understanding.
